The Avalon Hotel Launches 1941 Promotion

The Avalon Hotel is a South Beach icon that has been around for nearly 82 years.

It was designed by world-renowned architect Albert Anis its iconic design and neon-lit façade have been tirelessly preserved to maintain its status as a beacon on the beach.

The hotel is located on 7th street, at the heart of Ocean Drive. Its location and distinguished appearance have allowed it to serve as a backdrop for many cultural happenings throughout the years as a longtime patron of the local art scene.

It has been featured in renowned film and television classics like Scarface and Miami Vice, as well as a location in the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City video game.

The hotel has 58 rooms spread across three floors, headlined by the newly refurbished Ocean Front and Ocean Corner rooms.

Each guest at the Avalon Hotel has access to a daily deluxe continental breakfast as well as free Wi-Fi, complimentary bottled waters in the rooms, Nest soaps and lotions, beach chairs and beach towels.

The hotel’s in-house restaurant, A Fish Called Avalon, serves world class cuisine and cocktails.

It opened in 1989 and is one of the longest continually operated restaurants in Miami Beach.

The kitchen is helmed by Executive Chef Kal Abdalla, who previously served as Executive Chef at Miami’s The Forge Restaurant.

For summer 2023, the Avalon Hotel is commemorating its 82nd year by offering guests a 1941 Promotion to celebrate their history.

Guests who book directly receive 25-percent off room rates as well as two complimentary 1941 cocktails.
