In celebration of this momentous occasion and in tribute to their recent recognition by the 2022 MICHELIN Guide and newly announced winning title of Wine Spectator’s 2022 Award of Excellence, LEKU will preview their lunch and dinner menus in early support of Miami Spice Restaurants Months 2022 beginning on Friday, July 1.
The restaurant promotion organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s generally runs from August 1st to September 30th and offers local and tourists alike a special once a year opportunity to relish in signature dishes from exclusive restaurant partners offering three-course menus at favorable prices.
In addition to LEKU’s all-day a la carte menu and LEKU Sharing Experience, patrons can anticipate a delectable three-course Miami Spice lunch menu ($28 pp) entailing a choice of appetizer between Tartar de Remolacha, beet tartare, olive oil caviar, herb emulsion; Cracker de Tomate de Temporada + Albahaca, seasonal tomato and basil cracker, basil emulsion; and Puerros Confitados ala Catalana, confit of leeks, rosemary and sage, with whole grain mustard.
Main course offerings will include Tortilla Española Trufada, a truffle Spanish omelette; Short Rib Sliders en Pan de Leche, short rib sliders, milk bun; Carrillera de Ternera Wagyu, braised Wagyu veal cheeks, sweet potato mash, crispy chips; or Salmon + Coliflor, salmon fillet “a la plancha” cauliflower pil pil, sunchokes ($10 supplement).
To conclude the meal on a sweet note, guests will choose from the decadent Helado de Leche Ahumada, smoked ice cream, cold pressed beet juice; or LEKU’s legendary Tarta de Queso Vasca, smoked cheese tart ($6 supplement).
For those seeking a chic evening experience, guests can select from two separate three-course Miami Spice dinner menu options (priced at $45 pp or an elevated meal at $60 pp).
Starter offerings will include Gambas Al Ajillo, Key West pink shrimp in garlic sauce ($10 supplement); Ensaladilla de Patatas con Salmon Curado, Basque potato salad, house-cured salmon, trout roe, prawn, tuna, egg; and Terrina de Foie Gras de Pato, foie gras terrine dusted with corn nuts, Pedro Ximenes marmalade ($5 supplement), among others.
Enjoy entrée staples such as the Baccalao Confitado en su propio Pil Pil, confit cod in its own pil pil; Arroz de Setas a la Brasa, wild mushroom rice; Carré de Cordero a Baja Temperatura, slow-cooked rack of lamb au jus; and more.
To complement the meal, desserts such as the palate pleasing Goxua, a traditional Basque cake with méringue and caramelized custard, as well as Tarta de Chocolate, chocolate ganache tart, are worth the indulgence.
